We have a native bee hive in a tree near our vegie garden which is fantastic. Does anyone know if its possible to split the population? Or is that too risky and possibly ruin their future?

Id love to be able to look into that tree and see whats going on in there.

Is it native bees or European bees. Natives don't tend to settle into hives very well and don't produce much honey

Definitely native, they are quite common around here. I thought it might be best to leave them Freebz
