On many other forums people often talk about their bees being more aggressive in autumn - supposedly to guard their winter stores.
Now its autumn here in Oz have any of you noticed a change in behaviour?
In my case my hives in the backyard seem a bit more punchy. Went all through spring and summer without a sting and in the last two days had four stings while changing feeders, two on the foot, one on the forehead and one on the hand.
As for our hives out in the bush, they never get a chance as it the full kit when I handle them, I already know they are punchy
