i have an old earth way seeder with seed wheels for many kinds of seed size. perfect for long rows where you want to plant seed without bending over.

May not be hard to make. I like the ones that can plant spuds as well.

There is an Earthway on ebay now, 2nd hand. They are not very accurate for small seeds but great for corn or beans.
There is a korean seeder called a Jang which is the rolls royce of seeders.
Be virtually impossible to make one, not so much the actual machine but the seed metering system is very technical, with interchangeable gearing and seed seperation rollers.

the spacing and size of holes is diff. on each wheel, mine does fine on tiny seeds as well as large seed. spend the money and get a good seeder...don't waste valuable drinking time trying to make one.

as soon as i get myself a new camera i will post some pix of the new farm projects. i have been staying quite busy clearing the new plots and remodeling the old house to make a "farm store" we pulled out and gutted the kitchen turning it into a commercial kitchen...looking to get a health dept. "A" rating so we can sell value added products, and produce off the farm for sale can goods.
we have the chicken meat an egg thing going off pretty well now. one less thing to have to buy from the commercial industry.
i have been toying with the idea for some time now to offer classes for modern homesteading to those who wish to take charge of their lives....folks seem to want this lifestyle, but lack proper skills.
