Two of our chickens are turning out to be roosters, and very fine looking they are. They are destined for the pot, but if anyone wants to get into breeding Australorps and you need a rooster let us know !

We also have two Australorp roosters, one for breeding and one for the pot. They have been showing us why we should keep each of them, the smaller one has a lovely red comb and ears, and was trying to make out with one of the girls. The other larger one has whitish ears, and will dance and show the girls when there is food, he ran to protect the hen from the smaller rooster, he is the winner and the smaller one dinner hehehe.
