Was keen to buy some horseradish and queensland ginger this year, but by the time I pulled my finger out it seems to have sold out. I'm also keen to get some west indian arrowroot. I have heaps of the Queensland Arrowroot - as in hundreds of plants - but have never had the west indian stuff.

Will of course pay postage and/or do a swap for something you want. Not sure what that might be. A few things that people might be interested in - though I know many of you will already have, include:
- tumeric roots
- galangal roots
- Qld Arrowroot tubers
- a relatively small but pungent australian garlic (purple/pink skin)
- water chestnut
- west indian lemongrass divisions
- east indian lemongrass divisions
- orange sweet potato slips
- comfrey roots
- vetiver grass divisions

I think I can manage that Jaymie. How's one clove sound - fair deal  .

Jokes asside - how did you go with your last crop of garlic. I remember when I was there you had planted some. I gave some at one point to a workmate in Cairns and he planted in summer, getting it to grow really quickly but when he went to harvest there was no bulb  .

Down here we plant in about April and harvest October before the wet. The most important thing from my perspective is to time so you cna harvest before the rains so the bulbs don't get ruined.

If you just want some garlic I'll post some to you. If there is anything else you want that is bulky, I am going to be in Townsville next Wednesday. Only flying up for the day for some meetings so won't be able to catch-up, but can leave a package at the office for you or Axl to pick up at your convenience if there is anything you want.
